Known as the main headliner and one of the original members of the 5th Platoon, DJ Roli Rho has been deejaying with a historic record of 20 years. Roli’s experience in the field of rocking parties and making a crowd dance with longtime mobile DJ crew IntroBass Productions; brought his name to fame in the club circuit all over the East Coast. Roli was displaying his urban blends and hot party mixes, before he became known as one of the fiercest beat jugglers known today.

Influenced by a spectacular performance of Rob Swift of the legendary X-ecutioners in 1995, inspired Roli to take upon the art of turntablism. Roli’s deep passion for music and years of experience in deejaying, brought him the opportunity to advance his turntable skills in such a short period of time. By winning competitions, earning titles and knocking down other DJs" Roli Rho quickly reached celebrity status. He is regarded as one of the most influential and inspirational turntablists today. He is also known to be a turntable veteran in many of the major DJ Competitions such as DMC and ITF. With the titles as 2 Time Vibe World Dominance Champion (98 & 99), ITF 1998 East Coast Beat Juggling Champion, ITF 1998 2nd Place Beat Juggling, 1997 105.9 Champion, NY 1995 Zulu Champion and the Rhythm Method 1995 Champion; Roli Rho made his name within the battle circuit. Using his titles to his advantage, Roli made his way towards the music industry, which then led him to be one of the most influential musicians to exist. Many fans around the world adore the manipulated and incorporated beat juggle routines, which he composed from two pieces of vinyl. His compositions are known to be astounding musical pieces and extraordinary work of art.

Roli’s music is found in many of his popular mix tapes such as his release entitled “Smart Bomb”. Roli’s turntable production can be heard in several compilation albums. His artistry and hidden production skills are featured in these albums: The “5th Line of Defense”- Deeper Concentration compilation by OM Records, “TableTalk” on the X-ecutioner’s Xpressions Album, “It’s About That Time” and “Remember The Way” in the Elephant Tracks compilation - Asian Improv Records, “Plugged In” by Asian Avenue. In addition to Roli’s exceptional resume, Roli recently appeared on the Fox 5 Queen Latifah show in a brief showcase and interview. He has also appeared in several publications of popular industry magazines such as Vibe, Rap Pages, CornerStone Fader, XXL, Rolling Stones, RayGunn and many more. Roli has performed with well-known Hip-Hop artists such as Rass Kass, Rasco, Zion I, Planet Asia, RockSteady, Cold Crush, Arsonists, Rah Digga, etc… Furthermore, Roli Rho DJ’s for the world known Hip-Hop group the Mountain Brothers. He has also traveled around the world, showing off his sleek mixes, glossy cuts, and turntablism flavor to all. Roli’s upcoming projects consists of new mix tape releases, battle records, and turntablist production. He continues to succeed in all his endeavors as one of the intimidating competitors in turntable history.
