Alyssa Jade Shoemaker is the 10 year old Philippine American up and coming singing sensation. She is the daughter of Maureen Javier and Michael Shoemaker. She is the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Rolly and Rose Javier and Pastor Donavon & Viola Shoemaker of Jersey City. Alyssa was part of the of the Soaring High Scholar program in her school. She is also part of her school choir, band and honors Spanish program. She has 2 brothers Justin, 15 and Michael, 13.

Alyssa Jade was crowned Little Miss Performing Arts 2009 & Little Miss NAFA 2010. Not only does she possess beauty she is also very talented. She currently studies voice at the Staten Island Conservatory. She loves to sings songs from artists such as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Miley Cyrus. Alyssa also loves to write her own songs, play the piano, saxophone and loves ballroom dancing. Alyssa made her first singing debut at the 2009 Philippine Fiesta in the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ along with famous Filipino artists such as Gerald Anderson and Kim Chu. She sang in other Filipino events such as the PACAL and Garden State Associations. Alyssa Jade was the 2nd place winner of the Bulilit Idol in 2010 PAFCOM in Jersey City. She also won 2nd place at the Piscataway’s Got Talent in 2010. On March 13, 2011 during the New York Knicks halftime game in MadisonSquare Garden, Alyssa performed in front of 20,000 people and won the KidzBop Talent Search. On round 2 of the KidzBop Talent contest, Alyssa won the online voting with the highest votes out of 4 contestants. Alyssa performed at the Grand finals on April 3, 2011 during NY Knicks halftime game at Madison Square Garden and won based on audience applause. As the KidzBop Grand Prize winner she will have a recording session in the KidzBop Studio and will be featured on their website. She will be performing at the Piscataway Street Fair, the 33rd Santacruzan Street Fair on May 29, 2011 sponsored by GMA Pinoy TV and Philippine American Friendship Day Parade & Festival 2011.
